DR. SUDARSAN PANDA, IFS (RR-1987) PRINCIPAL CHIEF CONSERVATOR OF FORESTS JOINED AS THE PROJECT DIRECTOR OF OFSDS
Dr. Sudarsan Panda, IFS (RR-1987), Principal Chief Conservator of Forests joined as the Project Director of Odisha Forestry Sector Development Project on 9th December 2019. Dr. Panda was serving as the Additional PCCF-cum-Special Secretary at Forest and Environment Dept., Government of Odisha. Prior to this he has served as Regional Chief Conservator of Forests (RCCF) Angul. He was Director, Nandankanan Zoo, Chief Executive of Chilika Development Authority apart from other positions during his service tenures.
Upon promotion to the grade of PCCF, Dr. Sudarsan Panda posted as PD, OFSDP and assigned the charge as the Project Director. He was greeted and welcomed by all the staffs of PMU, OFSDS.
In his opening address to the Staffs of PMU, OFSDS, Dr. Sudarsan Panda, PD urged all to contribute for the assignments diligentlty so that the project could create a lasting impact in the field. He advised all the staffs to work in coordination with field units in a mission mode so that the last mile benefit to the community as envisaged in the project should be achieved.
