A two-day CBT organized for the EDCs enrolled under Satoyama initiatives
A two-day capacity building training program for revisiting the micro plans of EDCs enrolled under the SATOYAMA initiatives was held at Sambalpur on the 19th and 20th of June, 2025. The training saw active participation from EDC presidents, member secretaries, EDC animators, as well as FMU and DMU staff, alongside functionaries from the PMU.
The program was enriching for the community participants with valuable contributions and feedback from all participants. The occasion was graced by the Joint Project Director (PI & LCD), OFSDS, RCCF, Sambalpur and other senior officials of PMU and PMC of OFSDS along with DFO, Bamra (Wildlife). Different facets of the SATOYAMA Initiatives were discussed and the need for further refinements in the preparation of micro plans was disseminated in the training programme.
