At the State level, Forest & Environment Department act as Nodal department. Principal CCF-cum- Project Director, OFSDS is the Nodal Officer at the State level. A team of 4 – 7 professional experts assist him at the State level. Their disciplines are inter-alia include Agriculture & Livelihoods / Forestry / Natural resource Management / Capacity Building / IT & GIS/ Monitoring & Evaluation/ Finance etc. This team provides technical support to the district team. They also develop process / operational guidelines, strategy for capacity development, monitoring, evaluation and learning system, financial manuals, and technology guidelines
Project Manager (DFO Rank) with two Asst. Project Managers and 4 Subject Matter Specialists with support staff looks after the implementation of the programme at the project level.
